Commercial Aviation – International
Providing engineering services in international markets brings opportunities and challenges— from new business operations and languages to managing a blend of codes. Argus personnel have successfully provided aviation fueling design services at commercial airports and military installations on every continent except Antarctica. Most recently, our efforts have focused on expansion programs in Canada and Central and South America.
Four of Canada’s largest airports have fuel systems designed or modified by Argus. These airports represent vastly diverse climates with programs that included master planning efforts, facility assessments and design of new and upgraded bulk fuel storage facilities, new aircraft hydrant fueling systems, pipeline receiving stations, and truck loading and unloading facilities. Argus is certified to do business in Canada and several of our engineers have acquired their P Eng registrations in various provinces.
Latin and South America
Latin American airports are seeing significant increases in passenger and cargo demand, creating urgent needs for upgrades and expanded capacity. Argus has developed strategic alliances and partnerships with local architects and engineers to contribute to the design and construction of important infrastructure throughout the region. To support our Latin American clients, we have implemented design parameters applicable through the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), have multi-lingual engineers on staff and maintain strong local resources to address varying code compliance and construction methods throughout the region.
