Argus is pleased to announce the addition of a structural engineer to its staff of professional fueling system experts. Jason DeWald is based in the Overland Park headquarters office. Mr. DeWald is a structural engineer and project manager with more than 17 years of experience on rail and bridge projects, including track and bridge design, project engineering, inspections, and construction management. He is skilled in bridge superstructure and substructure design, retaining wall design; track design, developing cost estimates, schedules, construction plans, and specifications for rail capacity improvement projects, rail yards, intermodal facilities, and auto-loading facilities. His expertise includes designing and detailing formwork, falsework, overhangs, and temporary shoring, and in detailing positioning of cranes for structural erection.
In January 2016, Argus opened a satellite office in Miami, Florida, to better serve its Latin American clients and the Florida aviation fueling market.
Jorge Rodriguez, P.E., CxA, Director of Latin American Operations, will manage the Miami office. Rodriguez is a licensed professional mechanical engineer and project manager with more than 20 years experience. His extensive international experience includes planning and design of aircraft hydrant fueling systems in Bogota, Colombia; Quito, Ecuador; Panamá City, Panamá; and Miami, Florida. Rodriguez has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Havana University.
