What's New
Miami International Airport
Argus Consulting has
been selected by American Airlines (A/A) and Miami-Dade Aviation
Department (MDAD) to implement the fixed 400-hertz electrical ground
power and pre-conditioned cabin air systems for A/A's 47-gate North
Passenger Terminal Complex at Miami International Airport, Fla.
Argus will develop programming, planning, design and construction
documents for the 400-hertz and PCA systems. The initial project
task will include developing system capacity requirements,
evaluation of the existing systems, analysis of a central system
versus point-of-use equipment. Argus will provide a Concept
Development Report that addresses demand/capacity requirements,
economic analyses and recommendations on how to proceed with the
project.
Construction and equipment installation for the project will be
multi-phased. The phasing process will be coordinated with
construction of the passenger terminal building, apron,
infrastructure systems and occupancy of the aircraft gate positions.
To accomplish this, the design development and document preparation
will be organized to support a "Fast Track" implementation process.
