Fuel Distribution System Design and Construction Follow-On
Baltimore Project

Argus provided design services for a new Fuel Receiving, Storage and Distribution Facility at San Bernardino International Airport. Components are very similar to those found in railroad fueling facilities, and included three 50,000 gallon aboveground fuel storage tanks, two transport fuel truck unloading stations, and two truck loading stations. The tanks were equipped with level monitoring safeguards, inventory monitoring and controls to ensure safe and continuous operation. Concrete transport truck unloading and loading positions were provided for support of all unloading and loading equipment to receive and distribute fuels.

A 20’ x 30’ Operations/Control Building was designed and constructed to house an operations area, manager’s office, employee facilities, electrical power panels, motor control center, electrical distribution panels and system controls. A fuel sample laboratory will be integrated into the building.
