Fuel Storage Facility Design and Construction Follow-On
Baltimore Project

This facility also contained components found in railroad fueling facilities. Argus designed a new Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility for Will Rogers World Airport, including three 5,000 BBL, one 15,000 gallon, and two 12,000 gallon aboveground storage tanks, two transport fuel truck unloading stations, and two truck loading stations.

The project also included renovation of an existing four-position, remote refueler, loading island. After renovating the refueler facility, the flow rate increased from about 400-500 gpm in the former facility to about 1200 gpm. Additions to the Operations/Control Building provided a fuel lab, operations office, and electrical equipment room.
