The Arizona Fuels Facility Corporation owns and operates a pipeline from Van Buren, Arizona to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This pipeline is the primary supply of jet fuel to the airport. The pipeline is routed through south downtown Phoenix, located adjacent to major public, corporate and private properties including the Bank One Ball Park. To facilitate the construction of this and other developments within close proximity to the pipeline, Argus has analyzed the impact of adjacent construction from a code compliance and operational characteristics perspective. In certain cases, physical modifications to the pipeline have been required. Argus has performed the engineering design of these critical modifications as well as being involved with the oversight of construction. Additionally, Argus has been the Fueling Facilities and System Consultant for the City of Phoenix for the past eight years, and has been the Engineer of Record for all Aircraft Hydrant Fueling System Projects during that period.
