Argus provided diesel system fast-track design/build services to an operational logistics support base. The existing DF-2 fuel bladders, earthen dikes and pumping systems were relocated and the site graded. The new diesel bulk fuel storage complex provides:

  • Four 250,000 gallon aboveground bolted steel storage tanks
  • New pumphouse
  • Five Tank Truck Offloading Facility (TTOF) positions
  • Two co-located fillstands

The fuel complex features also include an 8-inch transfer buried pipeline connecting the TTOF and the operational fuel storage facility. Two unique features of this project are the utilization of bolted steel aboveground tanks, a departure from the standard welded tanks, and the design and construction of T-Walls, 15-feet concrete walls used for asset protection against munitions mortar fire.
