With several active pilots on the Argus staff, we don’t just design fuel systems— we use them. Our expertise in commercial aircraft fueling, along with our personal flight experience, ensures that smaller general aviation airports and fixed-base operator (FBO) aviation fuel systems deliver the same high fuel quality to pilots. Garrett Gjerstad, PE

Project Manager and Senior Civil Engineer

Garrett has extensive experience as project manager and lead civil engineer in the design, construction and management of commercial and general aviation fueling storage and distribution systems and aircraft ramp services. He has managed the design and construction of numerous general aviation fuel storage, self-serve dispensing and bulk/refueler loading facilities for municipal, regional and national airports across the Midwest and Texas, and contributed to the fueling system design standards for general aviation airports for the Texas Department of Transportation Aviation Division.  Garrett is focused on general aviation systems that are cost effective for installation and maintenance, and meet all code, safety and environmental requirements and industry standards.   He is a licensed professional civil engineer in numerous states, and has a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.
