Argus provided design services for a new aviation fuel receiving, storage and distribution facility. Components of the system included:

  • Three 50,000 gallon aboveground Jet-A fuel storage tanks
  • Two transport fuel truck unloading stations
  • Two refueler loading stations
  • A 20’ x 30’ operations/control building
  • A new electrical distribution system

The horizontal Jet-A tanks were equipped with level monitoring, safeguards, inventory monitoring and controls to ensure safe and continuous operation. Transport truck unloading and refueler vehicle loading positions were provided with concrete spill containment for support of all unloading and loading equipment to receive and distribute fuels.
