Watchful and attentive, since 1994
In 1994, four engineers with a strong passion for aviation and technical expertise in aircraft fueling systems came together with a new idea for the aviation industry. They envisioned a highly specialized firm of experts that would serve general and commercial airports with full-spectrum services from project planning to construction.
Striving to be a watchful guardian for our clients’ interests, our founders named the firm Argus Consulting, a nod to the guardian giant of Greek mythology. An ancient mythical creature with many eyes, folklore states that Argus became the animal we know today as the peacock. Like ancient Argus, we aim to be ever watchful and attentive for all of our clients.
As Argus grew, its domestic aviation and environmental expertise expanded from the U.S. general and commercial aviation markets to Canadian and Central and South American airports. Further expansion, especially after 9/11, brought our capabilities to the support of critical military operations facilities at home and abroad.
The Argus team later translated its fueling systems expertise to the oil and gas industry, designing storage and distribution systems. Further growth led to the development of specialties in rail transportation and marine fueling systems.
Today, Argus works across the globe to design, plan and oversee the construction of critical fueling infrastructure— keeping the world on the move.
