Spokane International Airport (GEG)
Planning, Design and Construction Follow-On
Argus Consulting was retained by Spokane Airports to provide
complete multi-discipline professional services in the planning,
design and construction follow-on for new aircraft fuel
facility.
Project Specifics
The project
included: the capability of receiving fuel via pipeline and
transport trucks complete with metering and filtration and three
6800 BBL above ground tanks in conjunction with pumps, filters
and controls to load three refueler vehicles simultaneously.
Associated elements of this project include: site preparation,
utilities, vehicular pavement, spill containment and processing
systems, fire protection, av gas storage and an operations
building.
The Design Phase
Prior to
implementing the design phase of this project, Argus performed a
comprehensive facility/system sizing and concept study. The project
will finish on the scheduled construction date and will have
less than 1% change orders. Argus managed all sub-consultants and
directed their efforts to provide a seamless work product and
operating system.
