Design and Construction Follow-On

Argus Consulting was selected by United Airlines for design and construction supervision in the relocation of its Aircraft Glycol (De-Icing) System at Philadelphia International Airport.

Relocating
This project required relocating the existing Glycol/water blender and pumps inside the United Airlines Cargo Facility to integrate with new storage tanks, piping, electrical power and control systems.

New Aboveground Tank
Outside the facility, a new 20,000 gallon aboveground tank for Type I Glycol was installed next to the a relocated 6,000 gallon aboveground Type IV Glycol tank for a dispensing truck loading facility.
