Argus provided professional services for the City of Phoenix to modify gate positions at Terminal 3 and 4, to serve expanded air carrier operations.

Services provided were project planning and engineering design, bidding assistance and construction follow-on.

Operations
New operational scenario for passenger enplanements and aircraft mix, the aircraft gate parking plan must be changed and new parking positions developed. It was necessary to modify the existing aircraft hydrant fueling system serving these gates. New hydrant pit assemblies were installed and associated piping at light gate positions to serve revised parking plan at Terminal 3-5 Gates and Terminal 4-3 Gates.

New Concourse
In addition to the various gate modifications at T3 and T4, Argus provided the design of a totally new 15-18 gate hydrant system to serve new Concourse N1 at T4. This project included a new aircraft parking apron and integration to the adjacent apron and fueling system.
